Performance
The levels of pretention within performance art are immense but these boots were the death of all feet. Why would anyone make exploring boots out of extremely stiff leather I will never know.

Mess
Pretty much what my art is this year a random mess of iconography and poorly thought out concepts.

Onwards and Upwards
With a new camera in tow, two more finished paintings and even more maps (I still need more, also I need some bags for sculpture) it seems like this year is finally falling into place. I'll put up some of the pictures I have taken with my 7d sometime soon.

Blanks
Being blank is only okay if you are Tim Blank, but i digress. My mind has been  (cue innuendo) thus I have been a tad creatively stumped. However tomorrows another day and I don't think I can bear another day of painting suitcases in a variety of colours, yes my art board has stooped so low. I mentioned "Prayers for Bobby" quite recently in one of my rambling posts and I think that maybe the instigator a new theme for my board. That said I will now need to pump out 50 works in nine and a half weeks, this is why the picture is of a chair because I won't be resting for a long time.

Queen's Birthday
This isn't a stab at the Queen I just really like the whole idea and aesthetic of the sculpture. LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!

Enlargement
Spot the resizing.  Thus closing Art Week I know I didn't post as much as I should've but I didn't feel it was entertaining enough. I'll get back to my self-photography posts soon and maybe chuck in some other things in there as well. Stay tuned and enjoy

FINAL
As you guessed, this was my final piece on my art board. It really is just a cluster(expletive) of materials but that is what Alice Glass represents to me.
Lets have a go with naming all the media in here:
OHT Transfers, Clear CD cover, Plexi-Glass, Acrylic, Pastel, Gesso, Paper, Card, Spray Paint, Cigarettes (Marlboro), Vivid, Dye, Janola,  Pencil, Indian Ink, Hot Glue, PVA.
I think that was it. Again a total cluster(expletive) of media for a grand total of 17

Alice Glass
I'm pretty sure I've discussed that Alice Glass was my "Pop Icon" for my art board last year. For those not familiar just pop in it google (I will link later when my internet is back up to speed) for those who won't she is the lead singer of the duo Crystal Castles which are a combination of 8-Bit, Punk and Noise. ENJOY ART WEEK (there will be other bits thrown in don't worry)
